Short version: this site does not collect anything about you.

What is stored on our side

Nothing. There is no account system, no newsletter list and no comment system. The site is a set of plain files served to your browser.

What is stored in your browser

Two things, both saved on your own device and never sent anywhere:

• Your light or dark mode choice, so the site does not flash white at you at six in the morning.
• Which ingredients and steps you have ticked off on a recipe, so you do not lose your place if the screen locks.

Clearing your browser data removes both. Nobody, including us, can read them.

Fonts

The display typeface is loaded from Google Fonts, which means your browser makes a request to Google to fetch it. If you would rather it did not, the site is perfectly readable with the font blocked, and self hosting the font is a one line change we are happy to make.

Analytics

If analytics are ever added to this site, this page will say exactly what is measured before it goes live.
